Fairfield Hall

We were delighted when asked to work on the stunning ‘Fairfield Hall,’ restoring the 130 year old turret. The restoration began with the paint striping of all detailed render work on the facade, followed by the full dismantle of the balustrades, removing rusted lintels. We then ran new moulds using the traditional in-situ methods of solid plastering. Following that, we crafted and installed new balusters from a cast taken from the original. A sand finish was then applied to the entirety of the plasterwork, bringing back the definition of the ornate mould work on the turret. During this project, this beautiful piece of architecture was nurtured back to her original grandeur.
